What MediScribe AI is
A tool some clinics use to help write up your appointment. Your clinician checks the draft and decides what goes in your record. It does not make decisions about your care.
Your choice
You will be asked first. Saying no will not affect your care, and you can ask for any part not to be recorded.
What happens to the recording
The recording is deleted after transcription. Drafts are deleted once approved. Only your clinician’s approved note is kept, and nothing about you trains the tool.
Who can see it
Only staff involved in your care. Every view is logged, and information is stored securely in the UK.
If something in your notes is wrong
Tell the clinic. You have the right to see your record and ask for corrections.
